People who are curious, motivated learners receiving support and on-the-job training can continuously improve their teaching and become very skilled. On a Facebook post yesterday, the New Teacher Center featured an article by Liam Goldrick to highlight the tide of enthusiasm among educators for what’s possible in their profession as they attended the last day of the 2015 Induction Symposium .

Goldrick mentions Elizabeth Green’s book, Building a Better Teacher, in his discussion of the need to move federal and state polices to reflect what we know about improving schools through supporting the professional development of teachers.
